Nest: Day 5

Day 5
Take five.

Let’s master the art of taking breaks…and not just a pinchy little five minutes here and there.

For every 22 minutes of work, whether you’re working on a crossword or sitting at your computer, take eight minutes to reconnect to your relaxed self by walking around. If your job is an active one, reverse that advice: take a load off.

I like to split hours into elevens (more on this later): that is, work two 11 minute periods each half hour and take the last 8 minutes for recreation. Use your timer to ensure you take your breaks.
