All set to count calories? It doesn’t have to be an ordeal. There are excellent computer and smartphone programs you can buy that calculate calories when you input what you eat.

But there are also free websites that suffice, albeit without all the bells and whistles. Be advised that many of these sites contain ads or have premium programs you can purchase to get extra features.

The only one I’ve used extensively is Sparkpeople and I do recommend it. But everyone has their own ideas about favorite features, layouts, and access, so please check all of these out.
