Create: Day 53
Day 53
Don’t worry, scurry, or hurry. Be happy.
Happiness is a big topic these days. Everyone’s writing books about it, and I’ve read plenty of them (Check out Gretchen Rubin’s The Happiness Project if you haven’t already).
I, however, know one thing that never fails to bring joy. Playing with creative projects.
Here’s a quiz :
1. What have you done in the last week that you can classify as pure fun?
2. What did you do on your last moodling date?
3. What have you ditched to make more time for creating?
4. What just-for-the-heck-of-it thing did you do on the 15th of this month?
5. When was your last moodling date and when is your next?
6. Are you making stuff creative Sundays? If you haven’t been, today’s the day.
I want you to be able to answer all six above. Cheating is encouraged on this quiz–that is, if you skipped doing one of the above things I just asked about, go ahead and do it now, then come back and take the quiz.
Creativity activities to make you happy:
Having fun.
Setting aside time every Sunday to work on art.
Moodling every other week.
Making more time for creativity by ditching something else.
Scheduling moodling (artist date) for next month, too.
On the Ides, I’d rather be ______
Jump start your creativity by taking a creativity vacation.
Realizing happiness makes us more creative.
