It’s Habithacking New Year’s.

The Fool, tarot card by Nikki de Saint Phalle.

As some of you may recall,  April Fools Day is Habithacking New Years Day.

What could be more appropriate?

If you’re a habithacker, you’re a fool for fun (besides being someone who is just getting started on 2011 resolutions).

This website has existed since April 1 of 2010. Most of what I’ve implemented since then has been by reader request, so please keep those contact forms coming (including shouts out when links get broken). Tell me if the program moves too quickly, limps along too slowly, or if you think I’ve left something essential out. Go ahead: complain, request, or just drop a line. Keep in mind, however, that I’m just one little overwhelmed habithacker, creating this site to help others who want to live life more creatively.

My Current Habithacker To-Do List by request.

1. Anytime email start for Create and SOS (in addition to Nest):
As some of you have discovered, you can now sign up for ninety days of Nest delivered via email, starting whenever you want, instead of sticking to postings that begin the first of each month. I’m transitioning to offering the other two feeds–Create (inspiration) and SOS (health)–that way, too.

2. Long-promised reviews:
I have lots of reviews upcoming: the ipad version of HomeRoutines (which is excellent, exactly like the iphone version); a review of timers; reviews of pedometers; reviews of the many many excellent creativity and organizing books out there, etcetera.

3. Ebook versions of the program:
For those who prefer printed, rather than webby, information, I will offer ebooks which will include extras such as charts and graphs and additional hints, tips, and tricks. Eventually, you’ll be able to grab these in pdf, kindle, nook, and ipad versions.

4. Facebook and twitter:
I’ve had requests to supplement what’s here with info on facebook and twitter, and I *might* consider doing this .

5. A lengthy post on where else to go on the web for guidance:
The habithacking way isn’t for everyone. Some of you are bound to do better following flylady or unclutterer or even using some of the pay systems out there. A full review of other possibilities is forthcoming.

6. Habithacker maintenance methods:
My posts along these lines have come and gone and I’ve not been satisfied yet. Zone cleaning? Something else? Weekly projects for each feed?

7. Habithacking the ssssllllllllloooooooowwww way:
I’ve had requests for a system that would work each habit for one week before moving on to the next. It really can be too much to get an email every day, I know.

8. Your request here:
Brainstorms from you, intrepid readers?
