SOS: Day 3

Day 3
Nothing’s free.

Pay up by stepping out.

“Nothing’s free” says it all, doesn’t it? We want to be in shape, but we don’t want to jump on the treadmill or give up cheesecake. No, good health isn’t free…but bad health is a lot more expensive.

{I’m not going to pretend lifestyle changes come easily.  But there is one thing you can do that won’t require you to exercise or change your diet. And it’s the thing, study after study, to be the best predictor of weight loss. Intrigued? We’ll tell you more tomorrow.}

But today, we begin with your first exercise assignment. Take a walk. If you’re in shape, you may be able to take a brisk walk or a long one. If you’re not, aim to walk 11 minutes, but don’t beat yourself up if even that’s too long for you. Once, after a long illness and surgery, I began my exercising routine with only 3 minutes on a Nordic Track. Please also repeat your Day 1 & 2 activities.
