Nest: Day 16

Day 16
Ride your routine.

Sunset Road. Credits at bottom of post.

Yesterday, if you celebrated the Ides, you let your routines go to hell. What happened in your life? I know what happened in mine. Chaos. That’s okay. A little chaos now and then is an enlightening experience.

But today, let’s get back on track.

The word “routine” comes from the French “route” or road. And this word, in turn, originally comes from the Old French “rute” which means way or path. Get the idea? Jump on your road to routine, stay the way, proceed along the path, and don’t swerve (except once in a while for fun).

Morning routine:
Obey your BOP.
Polish your place.
Take five (an 8 minute break every half hour).
Shovel your shitspot.

(If it’s the Ides, do whatcha want.)

Evening routine:
Polish your place.
Decide on duds.
