Nest: Day 6
Day 6
The shitspot fix.
Racers take pitstops, slatterns make shitspots–and they happen just as fast.
A shitspot is a spot that collects…guess what? Lotsa shit. Once you put down one thing, the pile grows higher and higher. It’s like the Law of Attraction for clutter.
The stuff might be papers, magazines, or clothes. Your shitspot might be your kitchen counter, your desk, your dining room table, atop a dresser, whatever. Maybe all these places. But please, just choose one to shovel daily.
Add this to your routine: spend 11 minutes–no more, clearing what you can from one of your shitspots. Go ahead. Shovel your shitspot.
My most reliably hideous shitspot is the kitchen desk. What you see in this photo is nothing compared to how messy it usually looks, but I didn’t want to scare you this early in our relationship. After just 5 minutes (I know; I timed it), check out how much better it looks.

If you missed a day…the reminders below are clickable.
Polish your place twice every day.
Do your do and shop, too. (Get the supplies listed on Day 2…we use them in a few days)
Be regular and orderly…with your keys.
Take an eight minute break every half hour.
Shovel your shitspot every day.
