Tuesday: Mighty Tidy Mouse

January 23, 2024 By Habithacker Leave a Comment

If you’ve followed the Habithacker program, you know that on Tuesdays we tackle, for a few minutes at least, the black beast, the bête noire, the worst and most disorganized place in our lives. It might be a drawer, or a room, or if you’re like me, an entire floor (my basement). But if you keep plugging along, doing a bit at a time, things always improve.

Which brings me to the mighty Tidy Mouse, a creature so determined he might just be a Habithacker mascot. This little guy went viral recently when a man kept finding his messy workbench mysteriously cleaned every night, all carelessly abandoned debris carefully placed inside a box. He set up a night vision camera and made this Mus Musculus a star.

Tidy Mouse worked just like Habithackers do….consistently, a bit at a time. We assume after his night labors he slept the day away, dreaming of the creative things he could do with the cup, the straw, the pieces of wood he so diligently collected.

More about Terrible Tuesdays and fighting the bête noire: Be a tidy mouse.

if you haven’t seen the Tidy Mouse videos, they’re worth a look.

Spread the word, habithackers!
